When it comes to Asia almost everything seems to be big but the Asia is  the home to some of the tiniest countries in the world. Some of them is so small that they have total land area of less than 1000 sq km.Here the list of these small nations,

Maldives( 300 sq km )




The Maldives is a South Asian island country, located in the Indian Ocean, situated in the Arabian Sea.It has a total area of 298 sq km making it the smallest nation in Asia by land area. 



Maldives  have population of around  393,253 and a gdp of around 5 Billion USD.Maldives is amzaing place to visit.Maldive consists of 1192 coral islands and the largest island is not more than 8 sq km (3sq mi).

Singapore (700 sq km)



Singapore is a sovereign city-state in Southeast Asia with total are of 719 sq km and a population of more than 5.6 million.Singapore is a well developed  country with a estimated GDP of 508 Billion Dollars in 2017.



Singapore have a rich history and culture.Singapore is Global Commerce finance and  transport hub.
It is also called the most technology ready nation in the world.Singapore have amazing population diversity with most of the people with Chinese Malay and Indian ethnicity.Singapore is a very well know despite its small size and is famous for its skyscrapers and beautiful buildings.


Bahrain (765 sq km)



Bahrain or officially Kingdom of Bahrain is a small Arab monarchy in Persian gulf.It have an area of around 760-780 sq km making it the third smallest nation in Asia after Singapore and Maldives.
Bahrain had the first post oil economy in the Persian gulf with a estimate GDP of 70 billion dollars.
Bahrain have a estimated Population of 1.3 million in 2016.


Brunei (5765 sq km)



Brunei  or the officially the nation of Brunei is a sovereign nation located in south east Asia on the island of Borneo. Brunei have a population of around half a million.Brunei is the first country on this list with more than  1000 sq km of area. Brunei have GDP of 33 Billion.  

Palestine (6220 sq km)


Palestine is a country in middle east claiming the west bank and Gaza strip. It have a Total population of 4.5 million. Most of the area claim by Palestine was occupied by the Israel during the famous Six day war.Palestine is a partially recognized state and is recognized by 132 United Nation members and since 2012 has a status of non member observer state in united nations.It is a member of Arab League and International Olympic Committee.
